Wayne Jakubowski is President and Chief Operating Officer of ASSETT, Inc. He has a combined 40 years of Navy and Industry experience with the last 20 in senior leadership positions. A retired Naval Submarine Office (Active and Reserve) he has led both military and civilian organizations. He has been responsible, as program manager, for large complex DoD Military and Federal Government IT programs and certified as an Executive Program Manager through IBM, LORAL, and Lockheed Martin. He has been the President and CEO of DRS Sonar Systems and the VP/General Manager of Oceaneering’s Marine Services Division prior to becoming the President of ASSETT. In each military and civilian leadership role his organizations achieved record performance and were externally recognized. He has also been individually recognized for his leadership, innovations and contributions to the organizations he has led. A U.S. Naval Academy Graduate, Mr. Jakubowski holds a BS in System Engineering and has completed course work at the University of New Haven and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Industrial Engineering/Human Factors and Submarine Combat System Design.
Robert McCaig is Senior Vice President and a founding member of ASSETT, Inc. He has more than 40 years of industry experience focusing on the design, development, and integration of large complex systems for military and commercial applications.
He has held many positions including designer of hardware, manager of test and integration, developer of diagnostic software, and chief engineer for submarine combat systems. He has also served as Technical Director for all Navy programs at Lockheed Martin in Manassas, Virginia, where he provided direction and coordination for all major initiatives.
Galen Plunkett is Chief Operating Officer and a founding member of ASSETT, Inc. He has more than 40 years of industry experience focusing on the design and architecture of large, complex systems for commercial and military applications.
Over his career he has been involved in many aspects of total system design, from hardware design and development to overall system architecture and technology strategy development; he has also been awarded numerous patents.
Mr. Plunkett started his career with IBM, and has held high-level positions including Chief Technologist at Lockheed Martin NE&SS-Manassas.
George Dasher is the Chairman of the Board and a founding member of ASSETT, Inc. Mr. Dasher serves on the Advisory Board of the Charles V. Schaefer School of Engineering, Stevens Institute of Technology. He has 42 years of industry experience, including 32 years in Program Management; 25 years in Submarine Sonar/Combat Systems; seven years in International Program Management; and four years in Space Systems Installation and Checkout.
Prior to joining ASSETT, Inc., he held the title of Vice President, Domestic Submarines of Lockheed Martin in Manassas (formerly IBM), a position from which he retired with 36 years of service.
